Terms and Conditions
Bookings
You submit your Booking Details to us on the site and provide payment details which will be used to process the payment of your deposit or total charges.
Before submitting your booking on the site, please review our Booking Terms & Conditions.
Payments If, when making your Booking, the start date of your proposed Rental Period is more than 6 weeks away, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total fee is payable.
The balance of the Rental fee is payable 6 weeks prior to arrival.
The entire Rental Fee is payable at the same time as your Booking if the Booking is made 6 weeks or less before the start of the Rental Period.
We reserve the right to cancel your Booking and retain the deposit if the balance is not received by the due date. However, we will always try to make contact with you before cancelling your Booking.
We will issue a Booking Confirmation to you once you have either made a booking online or with the Reservations office and in all cases when the deposit is received in cleared funds.
Checking Booking
Please check all the details promptly after receiving the Booking Confirmation and notify us as soon as possible, and in all cases within 24 hours if you think there are any mistakes or errors with your booking. If you notice that you made a mistake, we may be able to amend your Booking but it could incur an additional cost or a reduction depending on the date change.
Cancellations
If you cancel the accepted/confirmed Booking for any reason, you must notify Kenmare Coastal Holiday Cottages in writing by email to info@kenmarecoastalholidaycottages.com
A cancellation charge is payable depending on the number of days (or part thereof) before the Rental Period start date that the notice of cancellation is received. The amount payable is set out below,
The Cost incurred to cancel following a confirmed booking is as follows:
01–42 days (6 weeks) 100% of the rental fee
43 days or more (prior to 6 weeks) full deposit paid
We will do our best to re-sell the cancelled booking and if successful we will contact you with regard to a refund we may be able to offer.
If non-arrival occurs, the prepayment is non-refundable
If the Property which you have booked and has been accepted becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances or unusable for any reason prior to the start of the Rental Period due to circumstances outside our control e.g., damage to the property, we will use reasonable endeavours to find a suitable alternative property in Kenmare. If this is not possible or accepted, all monies received will be returned and holiday makers will have no further claim against us.
Rental Period
The Rental Property will be available, between 4.00 pm and 6.00 pm on the day of arrival and check out will be at 09.00 am on the day of departure unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Use of the property
1.You agree that the number of people staying in the Property will not exceed the maximum number stipulated on the Website except for addition infants under the age of 2 years
